JCM Custom Homes was founded in 1996 in Morganton, North Carolina. For nearly three decades, we've built custom homes and high-end remodels across a wide swath of Western NC — from Boone and Blowing Rock in the mountains west to Marion, and south to Lincolnton, with the heart of our work in the Hickory–Morganton–Lenoir corridor.
We're a local, family-rooted business. The same people who answer the phone are the ones walking your job site, reviewing your plans with our in-house staff architect, and standing in front of your foundation pour at 6 a.m. That continuity is the whole point — and it's why our clients keep recommending us to their friends, year after year.
We use a design-build approach with every plan engineered in-house — 40 years of architecture experience under one roof, partnered with our build team and our budget process.
